Investing in the Future

At Pregnancy Care Clinic of the Eastern Shore, we currently serve the tri-county area by providing a wide range of services and resources to individuals and families navigating unexpected challenges during pregnancy. Our services include no-cost pregnancy testing and ultrasounds, making them accessible to individuals with limited resources.

Provision of this medical support helps to ensure the health of both mother and baby. In addition, we provide educational classes on prenatal care, parenting skills, child development, and life skills, equipping the families we serve to build a stable foundation for themselves and their children.

To help alleviate the financial hardship for our families, baby items such as brand-new car seats, diapers, formula, and clothing are provided in our baby boutique. Through our Earn While You Learn parenting program, parents earn baby bucks for completion of classes and are able to shop in our baby boutique. Baby items are also distributed through our mobile unit in our more rural communities such as Pocomoke, Crisfield, and Princess Anne.

Our Campaign

This capital campaign aims to fund a larger facility to enhance services and reach more women and families in need. By expanding, the center will provide comprehensive support including medical services, educational classes, and essential baby items, ultimately leading to healthier families in our community.

The funds will be used to raise funds for new building expansion to better support families in our community. This expansion enables us to serve more women and families, providing them with essential care and support. With more space, we’ll offer additional educational classes, groups, and material support, creating a warm and welcoming environment for expectant mothers and fathers.

Renovations on the new building are already underway, and plans include an updated ultrasound room, comfortable counseling rooms, a larger community meeting space, a room specifically designed for fathers, and a much larger baby boutique.

Why It Matters

What began in a single room in a physician’s office soon grew into an 800 sq. ft. office. In 2012, the clinic expanded to a 1,600 sq. ft. facility to offer ultrasound services, enhancing care for clients.

With client visits recently doubling, we are excited to announce the opening of our new location at 2604 Old Ocean City Road in Salisbury, MD. This new facility offers nearly triple the space, allowing us to better serve our clients and continue providing compassionate care and essential services to those in need.

These improvements will not only enhance the quality of care we provide, but also ensure that every family who walks through our doors feels supported and valued. We are collaborating with local contractors and designers to create a space that truly meets the needs of our clients, making it a beacon of hope and assistance for all those seeking our services.

The goals of this project are to renovate the new facility to better serve clients, enhance medical services, strengthen educational programs, and expand material assistance. Success will be measured through completion of construction, the number of new client rooms, the increase in the number of medical appointments, the growth in education program attendance, and the growth in the number of families served.

We use eKyros to track healthy babies born, maternal health, and client interactions. Bright Futures is a system that lets us check each milestone achieved in the Earn While You Learn Program.
